Larry Kauvar is a serial entrepreneur and scientist who founded the human antibody company Trellis (Easton is the lead investor) where he serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer, and co-founded Promedior (a Trellis spinout for which Easton is the co-lead investor).
Dr. Kauvar was previously the founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Telik, a small molecule drug company focused on oncology. He holds over 40 US patents for methods, tools and drug compounds.
Dr. Kauvar holds a PhD from Yale in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry, did his postdoctoral studies at Caltech and holds an undergraduate degree from Harvard University.
